Recently
refurbished and under new ownership, The Hole in the Wall has
a new lighter feel, while retaining the ambience in which some of the
country's finest chefs have learned their trade.
The kitchen is now under the guidance of executive chef Gerry Dowd,
who's worked with the Roux brothers at The Waterside Inn in Bray, Peter
Chandler at Paris House, John Burton-Race at L'Ortalan, and Richard
Shepherd at Odin's

Gerry
has created a menu offering modern British dining, strongly themed
on West Country produce.
Everything
is made on site, including breads and ice-creams.
The Hole in the Wall has become a much-visited, friendly local
restaurant, as well as one for special occasions.
